Finished all the painting and mapping for both outside and inside. the cab is done. just need to do animations and controls and some blueprintwork. Uh and sounds which I might have to tackle myself for time sake. dreading that one. I purposefully added a photo in here showing in the shade the right side of the nose has a funky issue with the smoothing group. only in shade as you can see it goes away in the sun. so clearly a smoothing group issue maybe some advice on how to get rid of that? id hate to break the vertices because i'll lose the seamless smoothing on the nose.

getting very close. I think a few weeks and i'll have a release set. probably looking like mid MAY

you forgot to collapse the vertices at those points. I've had that happen before.

Looks great! !*salute*!

I have one suggestion (minor issue at most). The numbers look a bit small. Is there a way you could fix that?

I'm definitely looking forward to this regardless! !*brav*!

Just a heads up that the road numbers are 3725 - 3999 when you go to do the numbers dcsv file.

Now, obviously, you don't have to do all the road numbers. (It's a big pain to do; trust me I've been there before. *!rolleyes!* )

some more shots. sneak peek of the cab. cab needs the computer functions done, and I need to illuminate the control stand for night time use. That will wrap it up for cab functions.

the picture with the red arrows does anyone have close ups of this set up? I do not know what their functions are? Is it the cab heater switches?

The other picture shows fully illuminated night time cab. however I cant get the "night" version of the throttle and dyn brake to just come on at night. I used the usual 1_00xx_name_night naming convention for this particular geometry but maybe this doesnt apply for locos, just scenery items?

The Knobs are the Engineer and conductors side wall heater. The blue button is the battery saver button, and the panel is another speedometer, which from my understanding was moved from the conductors dash to make room for a PTC display.
