NS Big 7s project

Unread postby LordMannu » Fri Jan 02, 2015 8:04 am

Hi all.
Some of you will remember this model from several years ago. It was on stand by until some weeks ago when I could convince its creator ( Guillermo Ruso )to finish it. But he came with a new idea. make this pack including all the NS 3600 hp Dash 7. So the pack will have 5 variants of C36-7 and B36-7 including the High hoods. I already test it in game with dummy textures and without cab view. I guess I will start working on the cab in a few more days.

Very cool! It looks like vintage GE is finally getting some representation in TS.

A long time there were none, and now they appear in droves: GE U-boats.

You have a lot of work on your hands, Lord Mannu. Good to hear you have assembled a team of specialists around you to ease the workload and improve overall quality.

How will your models be distributed? Through Steam or your own webshop?

Thanks for the kind words.
It is much better to have a team. We will be able to create better content in shorter time. As usual we will release all our work on Steam.

I'm thrilled that the Dash-7 gets some love on Railworks, as it has seemed to be neglected ever since it came out. They'll look great working coal drags on the Mon Line or mixed traffic on the NEC and Horseshoe Curve.

Textures are maded by Alejandro Bielicki and he is working on various repaints, ATSF and BN are obviously in the project list of future schemes. Great work! I'm really looking forward to these! Especially the B30-7A booster unit. I remember seeing those on so many BN trains on Stevens Pass when I was a kid.
