ScaleRoad - High Resolution Edition - is now available!

Our next add-on for EA Rail Simulator is ScaleRoad, a system of city, urban, highway, and other road sections, which add to the enrichment of your virtual environment. ScaleRoad also includes over 150 US-based road signs, with other assets in beta and will be available shortly (mailboxes, streetlights, etc.).

Features:
· Over 400 individual roads, junctions, bridges and crossings
· Includes over 150 US-based road signs
· Separate US and UK traffic paths using existing RS vehicles
· Detailed usage instructions and How-To Guide
· Low-resolution freeware version available

System Requirements:
· EA Rail Simulator with MkI and MkII updates installed
· 128Mb 3D video hardware acceleration or better
· 300Mb of available hard drive space

Still lots to do on the track before it's ready for prime time. I only finished off a few bits for the Colton & Northern.

Will there be new high detailed bridges with you scale rail? That is something we need bad the default isn't the best.

Bridges will be in the form of track (with guardrails, stringers, nuts & bolts), but I'm afraid you'll need to supply the supporting structure. I believe there's far too many variables otherwise.

That will be a good addition. Hopefully someone will make some nice structures. Keep up the good work Hack I am really enjoying what you have done so far for the sim.

One of my hobbies is crafting stupid questions. So here's one ...will ScaleRoad upgrade all RailSim routes, only those created to use it (like Rich's route(s)), or is it only for route creators to use in their ...creations?

Only routes that were built using the roads will be able to take advantage of the HR textures. Richard's latest route is one, but there a couple of freeware routes being discussed on train-sim.com that also use our roads and trees.
