We at Oovee™ Game Studios are proud to announce the EMD 40 Series Total Sound Replacement Pack!
Image
This sound set features:
High quality engine audio recorded at 96kHz.
Separate inside and outside recordings so you can hear the high frequencies of the turbo outside, while hearing panels rattle and squeak on the inside.
Various horn sounds based on Train Operating Company.
Axle rolling sounds / Track groaning / Flange squeal effects.
Traction motor blower sounds that vary with Amperage (engine load).
Dynamic brakes with engine RPM increase.
Various cab sounds including, switches, levers and wipers.

This sound pack replaces nearly all SD40-2 sounds for Train Simulator 2014 DLC including:
BNSF/BN SD40-2
Sherman Hill SD40-2
CN Widecab SD40-2W
Donner Pass SD40(T)-2

Expansions upon this set to replace other DLC audio such as Portland Terminal; as well as instructions how to install the sounds manually to non-Steam DLC, will be included at no cost to customers!
Installation for the existing packs is done automatically with an Self-Installer too, so no hassle!

So get ready to hear the EMD 16-645E3 engine like you've never heard it before... So close, you could almost smell the diesel fumes! It's time for you to bring this heavy-weight to life!

Coming very Soon!

The set is payware, yes. There is a system in place where, no you won't be able to share it with friends. Price is TBA. I can tell you it'll be similar to what Armstrong Powerhouse charges though. Reasonable price. :)

Good news for the box fans. Just unfortunate that there is nothing comparable to SteamSoundsSupreme to cover off sound immersion packs for US steam.

Still waiting on RSC / DGT's "new" soundset promised when the Big Boy was re-released *!sad!* (only real reason I bought it) Really don't want to have to wait till 2019 and 4014 hits the rails *!rolleyes!*

!*cheers*!

Ahh steam. The only steam engine I have at my disposal is Milwaukee Road 261, and I have no idea when Steve plans on running it.
