well that is interesting to see where you are. all i see is CN dash-9's sd40-2w's SD70M-2's and VIA F40's pulling bud cars! and the odd IC unit in black.

The only line that goes near where I currently live is an ex-ATSF branch line that was bought by the county years ago. They use it to run their light rail passenger service now. However BNSF still holds trackage rights on the line so sometimes late at night they'll send a short local freight train down the tracks. Is still remember back when I was a little kid though and ATSF still owned the line they used to send good sized freight trains through our area quite often. My uncle even told me about when he was younger, one of the Santa Fe engineers working the line actually let him come aboard and ride up in the cab for the day. You know they'd probably never do that today and it really makes me wish I had been born about 10 or 15 years earlier than I was.

the area around here was originaly Canadian Northern Railway, this is CN's larger predececor. anywayse i guess we should continue talking about the SD70 Volume 2 in this fourm.

My first summary after playing about 5 minutes:

The quality of the new variants is great. They even made the lightmodes of the CN a bit different (steplights) as it has another lightsystem as the other variants.
I especially like the SD70Mac. Amazing. (has the same sounds as the ACE)
The BNSF SD70ACE comes even in 2 variants: normal and with Wispercab

And there are again some bugs :
-The NS SD70 M-2 (not the others ) has the well-known problem of the right walkway (behind the engineer's seat) disappearing when inside the cab (this is also not fixed for the SD70 Volume 1 pack).
-The SD70Mac seems to lack the Train brake in the F4 controlscreen, although it's there in the cab and can be controlled (same problem as with the Dash 9s)

Scenarios:
-2 Standard - Four Minutes of Fun (SanB to Barstow), Black Wheat (Castle Rock)
-2 Carrer - Face the Summit, Return of the Mac (both SanB to Barstow), Springs for the Springs (Castle Rock)
-2 Freeroam - SD70s at Barstow (SanB to Barstow), SD70s at Monument (Castle Rock)

For all of you still hesitating if to buy the pack: RS.com has included a small, but great "Easter Egg" for all freight fans.
I just say 3-bay Hopper.

i cannot find anything that says about a 3 bay hopper? what kinda hopper is it, open or closed?????? if you don't tell me i guess i will halfto wait untill monday when mastercard activates all the giftcards that were bought over the weekend! Mmmmmmm mac.....

(EDIT: Don't forget to copy the Wagon.proxyxml file into the dlc's sound folder otherwise you can't enjoy krellnut's sounds with this hopper.)

i can't get the proper sounds into the DLC freightcars anywase... not even the ones that came with the SD40 highnose and widenose.
