Unread postby CSX2057 » Tue Mar 20, 2012 10:59 pm

Hey guys,

I got a new throttle, This is called Saitek Three Lever Pro Throttle Quadrant. Works very well on Railworks 3 with a support of raildriver software and Railworks Joystick API. Just got it today and I test it and here 's my picture.

I would put it on its side so that it works like an old-style control stand.

I still have my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System and I will try to put in good use the yoke as well: to change junctions... !*roll-laugh*! And also set one button to launch some RRM(*) against AI Trains out there before they derail and mess my hour and half long scenario, exactly when I'm about to finish it. !*roll-laugh*!

(*) Rail-to-Rail-Missile, especially designed to counter attack RW's ANTI(**) Trains.

(**) Artificial not that Intelligent feature to control railroad/railway traffic, a sort of Artificial Intelligence in a certain trainsim.

Thanks guys!

That cd you see below the throttle is a karaoke. I got a keyboard sitting next to my pc, I hook it up to my karaoke then to my pc line in.

Don't need one *!greengrin!* . I'm not a coffee person so I never drink one. Cappuccino sounds better for me.

Sure thing! I will do a demonstration on youtube.

LOL That would be nice, I got this throttle for $50 on amazon and its great price. I can't afford to buy a raildriver so I got this throttle instead.

http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewforum.php?f=318 - there are two joystick drivers, you might need to try both ( I did ). I use my TM HOTAS throttle as a power controller sometimes, but it's not usually worth the effort I find.

Did you download the Railworks Version 0.0.5_4? That never crashes on me, it did before. But once you get the hang of it it should not be a problem. To assign the controls you need to right click -->Add Input --> Assign Select and move the throttle. You should see those 3 bar graphs on the right. from 0% to 100%. I will make the tutorial this week.

Update:
I also got it working for MSTS, although its a different program which I will do as well. So I got 2 tutorials to do plus 2 demonstration video.

Ok I got my video demo done, its not much to see but hopefully you will be able to see it. Soon as I get a brand new HD camera I will show a better demo. I have done the tutorial for the RW joysticks. I will do a msts joystick as well. Maybe idk. The 2 videos will be uploaded next week or so.

GOOOD NEWS!!!

Before I give you the good news I want to apologize !!**sorry**!! for not making a tutorial. I was trying to find the best software to record my desktop to show you guys how to do it. Well I finally figured out a way to record my desktop straight using Fraps (not hypercam, beepa etc) I test it out and came out perfectly. Soooo I will be making the tutoria. But first I will be out of Town this week so I should get started Early Sept. Hang in there guys I'm still with you on this. I will make that tutorial!

*!!thnx!!*

Daniel

Edit:
2 Things I will make the tutorial for Railworks Joystick and MSTS joystick. The differences is the program I'm using. Some of you guys will likeit, some of may not like it. You will see how it goes.

I got the tutorial uploaded on youtube. Here's the link http://railworksamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=6389
