Late summer, across the Pond

Something a little bit different.

Mid 1950s...late Summer, almost Autumn. Been a very hot day, but towards evening it is clouding over and getting heavier, almost airless. A few spots of rain starting to fall, and before it is dark there is going to be the starting of a thunderstorm. It won't last long and by morning all will be clear and fresh again, but with a chill that shows summer is nearly over.....
