Is that one of your own routes, Rudi? Your screenshots look fantastic. I love the harvester out in the field.

Me as well. Does this exist as freeware for our own route progress?

Thanks ET, you have a keen eye (PNWR too). Actually it's the NS (aka Penn) Coal Route that I reforested to look like Southwest Washington. The first time I ran the original route it reminded me a lot of home, so I began replacing a majority of the hardwood forests with mostly 3D Trains (if I recall correctly) "Alpine Spruce no.6" which I think looks a lot like the native Douglas Fir. We also have a lot of broad-leaf maple and alder trees in the region, so I kept some of the hardwoods. Also, replaced the stock signals with semaphores and replaced all the modern cars with older models, made some "localized" billboards, and added a few scenes like the grain field in the screenshot. Although I still have to figure out how to re-populate the existing traffic ribbons with older vehicles. It's basically a practice-canvas so I can begin learning some route building skills, but I still have a long way to go. I think I used assets from just about everything in my inventory with no real record of where they all came from. So I'm hoping in the very distant future, to re-construct the route with planned assets from a minimal set of routes, that can be released to the library; sort of like what AlpenFreight did with his retro Sherman Hill. Currently, I've got my hands full just trying to learn stuff and complete the experimental version; so I'm not comfortable going out on a limb and making any promises at this point. But it is a fun project; and since the Army (and civilian work) planted me in Colorado, it's a lot cheaper than buying a plane ticket whenever I get homesick. *!!wink!!*

Edit: Oops! I forgot to leave a link for the Harvester; it's one of PapiNic's excellent works over at Railsim France: http://www.railsim-fr.com/forum/index.p ... agricoles/
